then you are just lame. You should have that checked out. A controller wouldn't stop me from playing anything.
Unless there was no controller at all and I'm just swinging in the air or something.
I don't have a 360 but have finished Gears 1 and 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Of all the features the 360 offers over the PS3 - apart from the games - the controller is the one I'm most jealous of.
I'm constantly hitting R2 with my big mitts.
Think of it as a wishlist, or what it needs to be as big or bigger than HALO.
It was cool/sucky that they made him such an arse. It was a good move. Maybe we get to play as Helghast and shoot him in the next game. LOL.
Killzone characters were less memorable than those in Gears2, but the story was better in my opinion. Not to say there wasn't a story in Gears(the ending sucked though), but it was cartoony. Comic books today have more edge, unless it is written by Jeph Loeb (cough*hack*cough).
Killzone 2 painted a bleaker story than the original, killing off Jan Templar and demonizing Rico. With Sev's imminent demise coming at the end of the game, I'd say Killzone paints a more realistic, dau...
One should expect trends in sales to decline over time. I don't see how that is any different than PS3 or the Wii. I guess the industry is in decline. Oh wait?! It isn't because it is about the games not the consoles, and it so happens the 360 is selling the games.
As far as exclusives, Microsoft has always tried to dominate the holiday season. If just Alan Wake Conviction and Mass Effect released this holiday season, we would be having a different conversation. Not to say i...
Natal will either totally screw the 360 this generation or raise it past the Wii. No in-between.
I think Microsoft is putting too much stock in Natal. Sony has a more realistic vision for their motion controller. I don't think they plan to upset the Wii, just exist along side.
Splinter Cell Conviction and Mass Effect 1 & 2. I've already played Gears I & II, and don't necessarily want to play them again.
The 360 has some great games, but not the variety that I find with my PS3.
It appears that Split-Screen took some old news to try to look more 'bonafide' than other sites.
I think they're jealous/frustrated, either one.
has something special. He's extremely charismatic and passionate about gaming. He makes me proud. The fact that a brother from East New York gets so much ire from you guys just makes even more proud to support him.
For Master's Chief' Chef Salad.
Insert Mass Effect. For the time Bio-Shock was a timed exclusive, it was more of a system seller than Crackdown. The Halo 3 beta sold Crackdown. It is still benefiting from it in my opinion.
The game features fewer unplayable characters than the first. Plus, now we only have one alternative costume. While the fan-service of following the Marvel Civil War is cool, they fail in alternative costumes; new non-traditional costumes are used.
The gameplay takes a step back as well. Before each character had 3-4 powers available. Now you have just one, but they make up for it with the Fusion mechanic. How? I don't know because it seems no different that what could be ...
Really. Why?
and Drake's Fortune in the PS3.
I bought my console after UC debuted, and it has been on my ever mounting play pile. So far...if UC is this good, I can't wait till I play UC2.
{Looks at U2 still in plastic.)
let there be an actual difference between the two consoles, and who will be 'angry' then. I'm sorry but this so-called equality between systems is not something I'm buying without some proof. Neither Activision nor Infinity Ward are entitled to my patronage.
What's truly ridiculous is a whiny boycott against Valve being respectable, and legitimate beefs by PS3 owners are just fanboy tripe. Not to say fanboys don't exist on each side, but they are mainly the ones complaining ab...
Families on limited budgets buying PS2's. There are so many great games at rock bottom prices, your kids can have an awesome Christmas without spending an arm and a leg. Spend $150-$200 and be the greatest parents on Earth.
and I like Guitar Hero for a party game. But GH is not more enjoyable than actually being able to play guitar.
When you say that you look at the product rather than the name in deciding a purchase, it does not exclude loyalty. Companies are normally very aware that is is MUCH easier to lose a customer than to win them back.
For a living, I routinely calculate loyalty as a metric for retail, software companies, etc.. In my experience the segment that is considered brand loyal is often as little as 30% of the customer base. A large percentage can be considered neutral. But those that ar...
but I rent Blu-Rays from Netflix. Streaming on the PS3 is a nice addition, which will be better integrated for PS3 sometime next year. Does it cripple the 360? Heavens no, but it gives the PS3 an edge in streaming movies/home entertainment.
Microsoft's pricing and broadband requirements make the PS3 a more viable movie option for most households. In this area it is not the 'best value' like they say it is. It never has been.
